Mold growth is one of the main problem especially in the birds house that is not properly maintain.These problem always come out at the nesting Plank in birds houses that have more than 90% relative humidity. Remember mold growth will effect  swift-let population in your bird house. Knowledgeable and skillful farmer are needed to avoid bird house from vacant for a long period time cause of the stubborn little fungus strike.


What is mold or fungus
Basically there are two type of fungi:
a) decomposer fungus- living on dead organic  material like wood
b)  symbiosis fungus- living on live organism like human being.

After receiving adequate moisture and nutrients from the wood, the spores germinate and become mold on the surface usually at the beginning the white mold will turn to black in a couple of day .
Causes of mold growth.
As I mention above, the main causes of toxic mold growth are plenty of moisture, poor ventilation and low light intensity.After the spores are formed, they are released into the air and carried elsewhere to begin the process of germination and growth all over again. Mold spores are highly resistant and durable.  They can remain dormant for years  even in hot and dry environment. what can we do? bird house provided  wonderful Place for toxic mold growth. These event getting worst and worst on the rainy season  Naturally, the outdoor humidity affect indoor humidity levels can reach 100% at that time.
How to tackle toxic mold growth
 The only factor that can be controlled is moisture."The way to control indoor mold growth
is to control moisture as it is the only factor has to controlled". This proves that the only experienced swift-let farmers can do those tough work!
