Suhu ideal dalam rumah burung walet

Askum. Kebanyakan penulis blog tidak menulis dengan details berkenaan keperluan suhu ideal dlm rbw. Mereka hanya menceritakan secara lalu atau ringkas sama ada mereka tahu atau tidak tahu atau tidak mahu berkongsi matlumat. Hari ini saya ingin menulis sebahagian kecil daripada keperluan suhu unt RBW. Julat suhu antara 26C - 29C adalah suhu yang disukat didalam gua yang menjadi tempat asal walet bersarang. Memang walet suka bersarang didalam rumah burung walet bersuhu sedemikian, kenapa?. Sebenarnya julat suhu tersebut memenuhi keperluan Fisiologi  telor dan anak walet semasa " brooding period "  dan juga struktur sarang burung walet. Julat suhu tersebut sebenarnya bukan untuk burung walet yang berumur 21 hari dan keatas. Satu persoalan di sini, Apakah kesan keatas behavior ( suka atau tidak suka ) burung walet sekiranya suhu lebih rendah atau lebih tinggi daripada julat suhu ideal. Persoalan ini dibiarkan kepada anda untuk menentukan jawapan.  Wassalam) Temperature.

Nearly all that faces nests population problem are due to high temperature. The owners are not aware of it and they never have any indicator to monitor their BH temperature.

I believed the main reason is not the BH but the "consultant" whom they employed who is either an old fashion guy or who never have any clue on the dos and don't of a good BH. They simply follow what the have been practising all these while. No scientific method to ensure that the room temperatures are within range. Just depend on some luck.

They need to monitor the temperature as accurate as possible and make sure they are within the recommended range (26*C to 29*C). Use the most up to date calibrated sensors to do this, if you can.

The hottest time of the day, BH standard in Peninsular Malaysia, is after 3.00pm up to 10.00pm. Most critical is at 7.00pm till 9.00pm when those birds starts to come home to roost.
